OnCourse Maine - Psychiatric Registered Nurse
Full-Time or Part-Time, Bangor Office

OnCourse Maine, a program of Care & Comfortís Behavioral Health Division, has an immediate opening for a Psychiatric RN. This position provides comprehensive, skilled, psychiatric-nursing services, assistance with rehabilitative needs and preventative care for veterans with severe and persistent mental illness(es). The Psychiatric RN also oversees multiple OnCourse Maine teams in several regions.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Must have successfully graduated from an accredited school of nursing and hold a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maine.
  • A minimum of two yearsí experience in direct service is preferred. At least one-year of experience in the area of psychiatric nursing preferred.
  • Hold a CPR certification
  • Participates in continuing education annually as required by state, federal and company regulations.
  • Prior experience in a behavioral health or decentralized environment is a plus.
  • All applicants must have a valid driverís license, current auto liability insurance, and reliable transportation.

Clinical Supervisor/Outpatient Therapist
Full-Time or Part-Time, Waterville Office

Care & Comfort has a full-time or partĖtime opening in our Waterville Office for a licensed clinician who wants to work in a professional, client-focused and caring environment where you matter.

We are hiring a Clinical Supervisor/Outpatient Therapist to work in our Behavioral Health Services division, out of our Waterville office.

This position provides office-based outpatient therapy (individual and family) and community-based HCT (Home and Community Based Therapy) services to children and adults. Some responsibilities include assessing clients and providing direct clinical services in accordance with the defined treatment plan.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a Masterís degree in counseling and/or social work and have Maine licensure as a LCSW, LMSW-CC, LCPC or LCPC-C.
  • Prior experience in completing diagnostic assessments, writing treatment plans and utilizing evidence-based treatment practices are required.
  • Related field experience working with children, adolescents, and/or adults with mental health needs is strongly encouraged, but not required.
  • Must have a valid driverís license, current auto insurance, and pass a background check and DHHS Maine Child Protective Services check.

LMSW-CC - Licensed Master Social Worker – Conditional

Clinical supervision of 1-on-1 in-home support and outpatient therapy for individuals, families, and group counseling for children, adolescents and adults. Must have experience in completing diagnostic assessments, developing treatment plans and utilizing evidence-based practices.

Working towards a graduate academic degree and has passed a state-certified licensing examination.

LCPC - Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor

Clinical supervision of 1-on-1 in-home support and outpatient therapy for individuals, families, and group counseling for children, adolescents and adults. Must have experience in completing diagnostic assessments, developing treatment plans and utilizing evidence-based practices.

Must have passed a state-certified licensing examination.

CSW - Community Support Worker

Employee will have direct 1-on-1 interaction with client inside the home or community setting according to the guidelines established in the Individual Habilitation Plan and under the supervision of a clinical supervisor.

High school graduate or equivalent. Must possess a valid Maine driver's license and liability insurance. Must complete Care & Comfort's CSW orientation, Mandt and CPR training

DSP - Direct Support Professional

Provides habilitation services as outlined in the Individual Habilitation Plan (IHP). These may include supervising the client within the community, self-care/hygiene, and interacting in peer activities.

Two (2) years working with the MR adult population. High School graduate or equivalent. Must complete orientation and required training.

BHP - Behavioral Health Professional

Directs interaction with client under supervision of licensed clinical social worker, LCPC, LMSW or RNC utilizing interventions as detailed in an ISP treatment plan. Provides behavioral and skilled based interventions to clients and their families in the home or a community setting.

A minimum of 2 years’ experience working with children and/or adolescents with behavioral health needs and a Bachelor’s Degree are required.

Homecare Division

RN - Registered Nurse

Provides skilled nursing services for the treatment of the patient's illness, rehabilitative needs and preventive care. Duties and responsibilities may vary between health care assignments.

Successfully graduated from an accredited school of nursing and hold a current licensure to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Maine. Must also hold a CPR certification. One year experience is required.

Successfully graduated from an accredited school of nursing and hold a current licensure to practice as a licensed practical nurse in the State of Maine. Must also hold a CPR certification. One year experience is required. Current licensure to practice as a practical nurse in the State of Maine.

CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant

Duties and responsibilities may vary between health care assignment. Skills include, but not limited to: assisting client with activities related to personal care, assisting client with transfer and mobility, assisting clients with dietary needs, etc.

PSS - Personal Support Specialist

Duties and responsibilities may vary between health care assignments assisting clients in activities related to personal care, transferring, mobility, dietary needs and household services.

Certificate of training completion High School Diploma or equivalent, and completion of a training program with a curriculum prescribed by the Bureau of Elder and Adult Services.
