Quality Assurance Specialists
Full Time, Waterville Office

We are seeking full-time Quality Assurance Specialists for our Behavioral Health and Home Health Divisions. These positions assist with ensuring compliance in record-keeping, filing, tracking of internal and external regulatory requirements, and many other aspects related to the quality of documentation and services provided by the Agency.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED and at least one year of relevant office experience is required. Prior experience in a healthcare or decentralized environment is preferred.

Requirements:

  • Proven accuracy in daily work and ability to meet sensitive deadlines.
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining accuracy.
  • Professional phone skills.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office & Outlook.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of, or experience with HIPAA and electronic medical records is preferred.

Behavioral Health Division

Clinical Supervisor / Outpatient Therapists
Full-Time, Part-Time, Fee for Service or Contract
Bangor, Wilton, Waterville and Dover-Foxcroft

We are seeking team members to advance our mission of enhancing recovery, connection, and well-being at the individual, family, and community level! We welcome conditionally licensed professionals who are excited to learn a wide variety of clinical skills.

These positions provide opportunities for office-based outpatient therapy (individual and family) and community-based HCT (Home and Community Based Treatment) services to children and adults. Care & Comfort clinicians have the opportunity to work collaboratively with other clinicians, childrenís case managers, community program supervisors, and BHPs. Our clinicians provide assessments and interventions ranging from therapeutic support to intensive interventions.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess Maine licensure as a LCSW, LMSW-CC, LCPC LCPC-C, LMFT, or LMFT-c.
  • Experience in, or strong desire to learn, diagnostic assessments, writing treatment plans, and utilizing evidence-informed treatment practices are required.
  • Related field experience working with children, adolescents, and/or adults with mental health needs is strongly encouraged, but not required.
  • Must have a valid driverís license, current auto insurance, and pass a background check and DHHS Maine Child Protective Services check.

LCSW - Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Clinical supervision of 1-on-1 in-home support and outpatient therapy for individuals, families, and group counseling for children, adolescents and adults. Must have experience in completing diagnostic assessments, developing treatment plans and utilizing evidence-based practices.

LMSW-CC - Licensed Master Social Worker – Conditional

Clinical supervision of 1-on-1 in-home support and outpatient therapy for individuals, families, and group counseling for children, adolescents and adults. Must have experience in completing diagnostic assessments, developing treatment plans and utilizing evidence-based practices.

Working towards a graduate academic degree and has passed a state-certified licensing examination.

BHP I - Behavioral Health Professional I

Employee will have direct 1-on-1 interaction with client inside the home or community setting according to the guidelines established in the Individual Habilitation Plan and under the supervision of a clinical supervisor.

High school graduate or equivalent. Must possess a valid Maine driver's license and liability insurance. Must complete Care & Comfort's CSW BHP I orientation, Mandt and CPR training.

DSP - Direct Support Professional

Provides habilitation services as outlined in the Individual Habilitation Plan (IHP). These may include supervising the client within the community, self-care/hygiene, and interacting in peer activities.

Two (2) years working with the MR adult population. High School graduate or equivalent. Must complete orientation and required training.

BHP - Behavioral Health Professional

Directs interaction with client under supervision of licensed clinical social worker, LCPC, LMSW or RNC utilizing interventions as detailed in an ISP treatment plan. Provides behavioral and skilled based interventions to clients and their families in the home or a community setting.

A minimum of 2 years’ experience working with children and/or adolescents with behavioral health needs and a Bachelor’s Degree are required.

Home Health Division

Staffing Supervisor
Full Time, Bangor or Waterville Office

Care & Comfort currently has a full-time opening for a Home Health Staffing Supervisor. The position reports to the Home Health Team Leader and collaborates closely with other supervisors, managers, and staff members.

Qualifications:

  • Strong skills to multi-task, problem solve, as well as organize and prioritize work
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to take initiative, meet deadlines, and work well in a team setting
  • Good computer skills including efficient and accurate data entry with ability to learn our database system.

Certificate of training completion High School Diploma or equivalent, and completion of a training program with a curriculum prescribed by the Bureau of Elder and Adult Services.
